An apprenticeship offer entitled « Apprentice in Maintenance Documentation and Customer Support (f/m) » has just opened within Commercial Aircraft division at its Blagnac - Wing Campus - Toulouse site.
You will join a team of 9 individuals within « Airbus customer service department » this role is ideal for someone looking to develop foundational skills in aircraft maintenance and eager to learn in a dynamic environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Specifically, you'll be part of the « Customer Service Technical Data Systems » department, responsible for developing, providing, and maintaining up-to-date maintenance documentation directly used by our customers (airlines, MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations), lessors).
These maintenance manuals ensure safe and effective maintenance operations throughout the aircraft's lifecycle, in compliance with airworthiness requirements and regulations. Within our department, responsible for producing technical data for all aircraft systems, your activities will focus on Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Troubleshooting Manual (TSM), and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) for all Airbus aircraft programs.
This apprenticeship will start in September / October 2024 for a duration of 1 to 3 years.
This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
Tasks and responsibilities:
You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
You will contribute to the following main activities:
Participating in the implementation project of technical expertise:
Understanding systems;
Acquiring fundamental knowledge of the maintenance profession;
Involvement in aircraft maintenance operator activities;
Understanding airline operations;
Mastering fundamental aeronautical knowledge;
Understanding different maintenance strategies at Airbus;
Participating in project follow-up meetings and technical meetings;
Identifying necessary information to capitalize on and proposing a means of storing it.
Skills assessment:
Identifying key knowledge and skills for each competence;
Conducting a skills, knowledge, and experience assessment;
Analyzing gaps with the target;
Proposing a training plan tailored to new skills.
Technology watch:
Defining a standard questionnaire and sending it to all Airbus representatives in airlines to better understand the use of technical documentation by airlines;
Analyzing impacts on our expertise;
Implementing technological watch on the impacts of new technologies and maintenance evolution;
Analyzing impacts on aeronautical maintenance documentation in the short, medium, and long term, and on specialist skills.

Skills & Prerequisites:
You will integrate a BAC +5 level training program in the field of Aeronautics for an apprenticeship duration of 1, 2, or 3 years.
