An apprenticeship offer entitled "Apprentice Home-Work Mobility (M/F)" has just opened within Airbus SAS on Toulouse site.
You will join the ?Real Estate Global Master Plan? team in charge of defining referentials on sustainable Building and Mobility solutions to support a Global Master Plan deployment all divisions.
This apprenticeship will take place on the following context:
Decarbonization and the reduction of energy consumption are major challenges for society in general and mobility in particular.
The ambition of carbon neutrality by 2050 is now a recurring theme in climate policies, from the international to the local scale, and strongly involves economic players.
Airbus is engaged in an approach aimed at fully meeting the international and national objectives of decarbonization and reduction of energy consumption.
On top, as part of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directives (CSRD) valid within the European Union, Airbus is committed to publish the GHG emission of employees commuting, which is part of scope 3 upstream.
These stakes affect the missions of the Airbus Facility Management & Real Estate teams responsible for the Global and local Master Plan, and for the daily operation of mobility services for employees, suppliers and visitors through:
Develop Sustainable Mobility Plan and the Parking Master Plan as part of Global Master Plan
Develop infrastructures to consider employees requests for equipment, in particular pedestrian footpaths, bicycle lanes and shelters, cloakrooms, carpooling services, Electric Vehicles charging points, internal transportation and Sustainable Mobility Master Plan ambitions
Perform upstream studies of buildings, considering countries and regional regulations on mobility (electric charging stations, bicycle shelters, cloakrooms, internal shuttles, etc.)
Develop a culture of sustainable commuting for all employees, ie, promote and encourage modal shift for commuting
Ensure relevant safety rules application for all transportation modes within sites and their surroundings
Liaise with local public authorities to ensure the development and securing of cycle lanes and public transport offer and intermodality
This apprenticeship will start in September / October 2023 and will last 2 or 3 year(s).
This position requires security clearance or requires being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.
Tasks and responsibilities:
You will be under the responsibility of a manager who will help you to identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.
You will contribute to the following main activities:
Develop in close relationship with Corporate Sustainability organization - in charge of the whole company environmental footprint strategy and reporting - of a methodology to assess the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
Synthetize key 2050 Net Zero scenarii on ground transportation decarbonization from Governments and Non-Governmental Organizations
Support the definition of a robust methodology and digital tool for the definition of transportation modal shares in line with Net Zero scenarii
Develop and test the methodology and digital tool with Proof of Concept on Airbus key sites
Participate to sustainable commuting forums with local Public urbanism or Transportation Authorities
The scope covers the commuting journeys of employees, service providers and visitors to all Airbus sites worldwide.
Skills & Prerequisites:
You will integrate a BAC+ 5-6 level training in the field of urban/ transport mobility or software deployment or equivalent for an apprenticeship of 2 or 3 years.
