Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Network Security Engineer M/F to join our Information Management Department based in Marignane, France.
As a Network Security Engineer you'll join the Connectivity PSL (Product & Service Line), an international team in charge of designing, building and operating the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security, Internet Access, Load Balancing) of the company, worldwide.
Security means configuration (Firewalls, Proxies, Wan Accelerators, VPN, SASE, ZTNA,..)
Networking and IP Management (IPAM, monitoring tools, CMDB)
Infrastructure, networking and security issues root cause analysis and remediation in a time critical environment
Plan for future growth needs in advance
Automate security configuration and management using Ansible and Git
Writing of technical documentation of new and existing network designs, implementations, processes and tooling
Support other applications or projects
Experience as a Network Engineer implementing and operating enterprise level networking and security equipment
Experience in network security is mandatory (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield, Proxies and Cisco ASA firewalls)
Experience designing and building complex data center network with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA would be appreciated
Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD tech & tooling such as Git, Ansible, Terraform etc
Strong ability to think creatively, to accept change and seek continuous improvement
Good interpersonal skills, particularly in communication and contribution to team motivation and problem solving
Ability to assess, evaluate and prioritize activities / topics particularly when under time pressure
Experience in German and / or Spanish would be a plus
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Some travels might be required for the position.
