Description de l'emploi :

Airbus UpNext is looking for the 5G System Architect  for a new demonstrator, aiming at demonstrating 5G Non-Terrestrial-Network capabilities based on space platforms.

The demonstrator team will deliver an extremely ambitious and disruptive demonstrator, explore and show feasibility of many new technologies and with this support the strategic ambitions of Airbus. As such, be prepared for a wild ride, testing unconventional ways of driving a project at a fast pace, and be ready for many pivots throughout, as we will explore the unknown.

As the 5G System Architect of the demo,  you are responsible for the end-to-end telecommunications system in 5G.

This position is based in Toulouse, and we will collaborate with teams across Europe and an international partnership landscape. 

This job comes with a 3 year CDI-C contract.

Missions:

Passionate and impatient about testing hypotheses and bringing learning into the business based on concrete demonstrations, you are the type of person who thinks about ?how things can be done? rather than ?if they can be done?.

By being a 5G System Architect, you will:

Ensure E2E design and validation of the telecommunication mission

Link with 5G experts on standardization

Link with partners for the 5G E2E demonstration



 

Profil recherché

What you bring:

Experience and solid knowledge in 5G standard and technology (System Architecture and Radio Access Network), satellite telecommunication systems and Satellite Radio Access Network architecture.

Additional knowledge in PNT and telecom mission/satellite SW would also be nice.

Passion about technology, science.

Experience in complex engineering projects.
