Airbus has revealed that SWISS and airBaltic are among the first customers of its new Flight Hour components maintenance Services (FHS-C) covering the A220 family. Airbus has also announced that other airlines will follow them "in the near future".
This integrated components by the hour services offer was extended to the A220 family (formerly CSeries) last April. The FHS-C A220 services includes spares' pool access, an on-site stock positioned at the operator's main base and components repairs. Airbus Services also provides a large stock of A220 Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
As a reminder, A220 Customer Services activities was integrated in the Airbus network last year. The A220 programme headquarters is located in Mirabel, Canada together with main customer services functions, such as engineering expertise and a 24/7/365 Customer Response Center.
