Boeing has revised downwards its services revenue forecast by 2029. According to the aircraft manufacturer, they will reach 3 trillion dollars in the next ten years.
This represents a decrease of 2.2% compared to previous forecasts, made in 2019. This revision is due to the effects of the covid-19 pandemic.
The decline will mainly concern services in commercial aviation, whose revenue could fall by up to 10% in the short term, while an increase is expected in services on government fleets. Commercial, business and general aviation are expected to represent sales of 1,600 billion dollars over the next 10 years.
