EAD Aerospace has announced that it has obtained a supplemental type certificate (STC) from the EASA, which enables it to install its SUMS (Satcom Universal Mounting System) radome kit on A320ceo and neo family aircraft - except for the A318 and the A319neo. It will enable the planes which are equipped with it to connect to Inmarsat's Global Xpress (GX) constellation.
