Lufthansa Technik is announcing that it is extending its spare parts inventory for CFM International's new LEAP-1A engines (A320neo family). Its stocks now also include engine cowlings and thrust reversers.
The Lufthansa group's MRO division also specified that these large elements will be distributed from Frankfurt and may be supplied to customers on a loan or exchange basis to provide a quick response to AOG situations.
