The S7 Technics paint shop at Mineralnye Vody (North Caucasus) has announced a major contract from S7 Airlines to apply its new livery to 17 aircraft in its fleet (Airbus A320s and Boeing 737-800s).

According to S7 Technics, the new S7 Airlines livery requires the application of an enamel with MICA effect, which is more demanding in times of painting (more drying time between the application of different coats) but which is longer-lasting (up to 7-8 years).

Eleven aircraft of the Russian airline's fleet had already been sent for painting at the start of February.
