Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has signed a new base maintenance agreement with French airline La Compagnie. MAEL will carry out a C-Check on one of its Boeing 757-200s. The heavy maintenance work will start in February at its Luton (London) facility.
French operator La Compagnie has been a MAEL customer since 2015, initially for line maintenance services (a contract favored by proximity, La Compagnie also operating in Luton at the time) which were subsequently extended to heavy maintenance.
Neil Kirby, Sales Manager at MAEL, emphasized that the British maintenance company's activities were now at full capacity for the winter season.
