Lufthansa Technik Philippines announces it has made cabin modifications on 8 of the 15 Airbus A330-300s of Philippine Airlines (PAL).
These eight aircraft, which were configured with a 414-seat, single-class cabin, can now accommodate 309 passengers in a three-class configuration. All classes have been reconfigured with new seats, a new IFE, and an Internet connectivity. The new business class is equipped with the Thomson Aero Seating Vantage XL seat.
Lufthansa Technik Philippines also indicated that preparations were underway to extend its capabilities to the A321neo and A350.
Philippine Airlines has indeed ordered 21 A321neo and 6 A350, deliveries starting from January and next June respectively.
