Pratt & Whitney announces that Pratt & Whitney Turkish Engine Center has signed a major contract with Turkish Airlines, one of its largest in recent history.
This contract, which can last up to 5 years, consists of engine overhauls within the framework of EngineWise which will cover all of the non-re-engined single-aisle aircraft of Turkish Airlines today, namely for IAE V2500 engines (A320 family) and CFM International CFM56-7B engines (737NG family).
Pratt & Whitney Turkish Engine Center is a joint venture founded by Pratt & Whitney and the MRO division of Turkish Airlines; Turkish Technic.
It has already serviced 600 engines since the beginning of its activities in 2010.
