Sabena technics has been entrusted by French Blue with the fitting of the cabin of its first Airbus A350-900, with the development of a specific STC via its EASA Part 21J DOA.
The aircraft, MSN5 (a former Airbus test aircraft) entered the Sabena technics facilities at Bordeaux Mérignac at the end of June in an almost green configuration.
The French MRO company will be retrofitting the whole cabin in a two-class configuration (35 seats in Premium Blue and 376 in Eco Blue) and will be installing a new IFE. The modification project, which also includes painting, should last a month.
French Blue's first A350-900 is scheduled to enter service on 8th August with a first Paris/Orly - Saint-Denis de La Réunion rotation. |
