Safran Helicopter Engines has won a major SBH (Support-By-Hour) contract to provide support for
the engines of British UKMFTS (UK Military Flying Training System) military training helicopters.
This agreement, which has been signed by Safran Helicopter Engines UK and Airbus Helicopters, relates to the Arrius 2B2Plus and Arriel 2E turbines with which the H135 and H145 are powered.
The contract is valued at 100 million Euro over a 17-year period.
Safran Helicopter Engines UK was already responsible for a similar support contract for the AS350
operated by the British Defence Helicopter Flying School. |
