Subscribing to Le Journal de l’Aviation, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below, implies the purchaser’s full and unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, to the exclusion of all others. The following are the general terms and conditions of online subscription between the undersigned:

Hereinafter referred to as “Le Journal de l’Aviation” or “the Publisher”,

PREAMBLE:
Le Journal de l’Aviation publishes the website www.journal-aviation.com and markets, in particular, subscriptions to Le Journal de l’Aviation. “The Customer” is an individual user wishing to benefit from one or more of the services offered by Le Journal de l’Aviation. The customer must be at least 18 years of age or have legal capacity or parental authorization. Le Journal de l’Aviation has declared itself capable of meeting the needs of the “Customer,” particularly in terms of quality of service, by guaranteeing that it has the skills, experience, know-how, and technology necessary to perform the services for which the “Customer” has requested it and is likely to request it in the future. With this in mind, the following has been agreed:
ARTICLE 1 – Technical requirements for subscribing
Le Journal de l’Aviation is an electronic publication available exclusively on the Internet. You must have an Internet connection and a browser that accepts cookies for the service to function properly. You must also have a personal email address to subscribe.
ARTICLE 2 – Subscription offers
Le Journal de l’Aviation offers various paid options for viewing its articles. These offers are described on the “Subscription offers” page, which can be viewed at https://www.journal-aviation.com/infos/nos-offres-abonnement.php.
The prices in effect are those displayed on the website on the day the order is placed, with Journal de l’Aviation reserving the right to change them at any time. Promotional subscription offers may be available from time to time.
ARTICLE 3 – Ordering
All orders placed on the website www.journal-aviation.com are subject to these terms and conditions. Any data recorded on the Journal de l’Aviation website constitutes proof of a transaction made by the “Customer” on the website.
ARTICLE 4 – Payment terms and effective date of subscriptions
The subscription will take effect upon receipt of email confirmation of payment for the order, regardless of the subscription method, unless special conditions are mentioned in the subscription offer. The time frame depends on the chosen payment method: immediate for online payment or from the date of receipt for payment by check. Online subscription payment for individual customers Only instant payment via the secure payment gateway is available for individual subscriptions. For corporate subscriptions (two or more user accounts), please refer to the contractual payment terms. Online payment by credit card is provided by the Stripe payment platform, which uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and Amex credit cards are accepted. Transactions are made exclusively in euros. Additional security may be required depending on your financial institution’s guidelines. You will then need to enter new credentials to authenticate yourself with your bank: 3D Secure, MasterCard SecureCode, or Verified by Visa. Payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay are also accepted.
If paying by check, it must be issued by a bank domiciled in mainland France or Monaco. The check will be cashed upon receipt.
ARTICLE 5 – Contract term – Suspension – Termination
The term of the contract corresponds to that of the subscription taken out. Payment of the subscription constitutes an “irrevocable” commitment on the part of the “Customer.” However, any termination of the order must be made within seven (7) business days of the order date and will only be accepted if it is made by registered letter and if no connection to the content of the Journal de l’Aviation has been made (service not consumed). With prior notice or after sending a registered letter that remains unanswered for 10 days, Le Journal de l’Aviation reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate the “Customer’s” account(s) in the following cases: hacking of the site, payment incident, non-payment of sums due on the dates specified in the contract, and fraudulent use as defined in Article 7 (Intellectual Property and Right of Use).
ARTICLE 6 – Liability
The content published on Le Journal de l’Aviation complies with current French legislation. All information and data published is provided for informational purposes only. The provision of this data cannot be construed in any way as specific advice or assistance in making decisions, particularly for the purpose of carrying out a transaction or making an investment decision. Le Journal de l’Aviation cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage that may result from errors, omissions, or delays in the transmission of said information.
ARTICLE 7 – Intellectual property and right of use
All information published by Le Journal de l’Aviation is protected by the Intellectual Property Code. This information includes articles and their titles, as well as all photographs and documents hosted on Le Journal de l’Aviation’s servers. Subscribers have limited rights of use over the published information. They only have the right to consult and use the information for personal purposes. Subscribers may print articles or download them to their computers for strictly personal use. Under no circumstances may subscribers print multiple copies of an article or distribute the content of Le Journal de l’Aviation to other users, including within their company (whether by email, hard copy, or intranet). Violation of these mandatory provisions shall render the offender, and all persons responsible, liable to the criminal and civil penalties provided for by law.
ARTICLE 8 – Applicable law and jurisdiction
This contract is subject to French law. The original language of this contract is French. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction. Any dispute relating to this contract, even in the event of a warranty claim involving multiple defendants, shall, in the absence of an amicable agreement, fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the court in the jurisdiction in which the registered office of Le Journal de l’Aviation is located. The General Terms and Conditions of Sale for subscriptions are subject to change. Subscribers are invited to consult them regularly and to print them out.
