After those of EFW (ST Engineering and Airbus) and 321 Precision Conversions, a new passenger-to-freighter conversion program for the Airbus A321 is being set up with Sine Draco Aviation Technology (Sine Draco).

The Sino-American company has just announced that its first A321-200 SDF will be converted by Ascent Aviation Services in Tucson (Arizona), with an FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) which could intervene in late 2021/early 2022.

Sine Draco announced the acquisition of an Airbus A321-200 (MSN 963, ex-AtlasGlobal, V2500) in February, an aircraft that will serve as a prototype for its STC development.

As a reminder, Sine Draco had turned two years ago to Sierra Completions, a subsidiary of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) for the technical design of its A321 freighter.
