Aurigny Air Services has chosen KLM UK Engineering for the airframe maintenance of its E-Jet

KLM UK Engineering, the British subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has announced the signature of a contract with the regional airline Aurigny Air Services.

More specifically, this is a long-term contract covering the heavy maintenance on its single Embraer 195, an aircraft which joined Aurigny's fleet in June 2014. The airframe maintenance will be carried out at the KLM UK Engineering centre in Norwich.

"We are looking forward to working with KLM UK Engineering. We have gone through a rigorous selection process and we felt KLM UK Engineering would offer us the best support we are looking for to meet our Embraer aircraft future base maintenance needs", said John-Paul Williams, Group Technical Director at Aurigny Air Services.

Aurigny Air Services is a regional airline based in Guernsey. It currently operate more than 14,000 flights a year to 11 destinations using a fleet which also comprises 4 ATRs and 4 Dornier Do 228/228NGs.
