Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) will take over the long-term storage of at least 17 Finnair A320 Family aircraft for the winter season.
According to this agreement, the aircraft will land at Prague-Václav Havel airport at a rate of around one to two aircraft per week until the end of November 2020.
"Aircraft relocated to Prague, where we have all the facilities, will be parked in milder weather conditions and at the same time receive complex technical support. As soon as the demand for flying increases, the aircraft will be ready to fly and Finnair will be able to service its routes using these aircraft," Pavel Hale?, Chairman of the Czech Airlines Technics Board of Directors, said.
CSAT also specifies that some of the aircraft will take the opportunity to undergo planned overhauls in its hangar F, in accordance with the base maintenance contract binding the two parties, an agreement renewed for three years last July.
