Ukrainian airline Windrose Aviation has selected NYCO's Turbonycoil 600 synthetic turbine oil to lubricate the engines of its entire fleet.
Windrose operates today with a fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft (CFM56 and V2500), ERJ-145 LR aircraft (AE 3007) and more recently ATR 72-600s (PW127), the latter gradually coming to join the airline's domestic network connecting the six largest cities in the country (Kiev, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odessa and Mykolaiv).
"We are happy to support Windrose operations with our Turbonycoil 600 through our local partner Yukoil. This new agreement shows one more time that NYCO turbine oil is the right solution for mixed fleet airlines operating regional and narrow body aircraft. Windrose will now benefit from an oil with excellent field record on top of a sustainable cost-effective price" said Clément Fabre, Sales and Marketing Manager - Aeronautics at NYCO.
A few days ago, the French lubricants specialist for the aerospace and defense sectors was also reselected by Chilean carrier SKY Airline to lubricate the engines of its new fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft (LEAP-1A). SKY Airline was already using NYCO turbine oil, greases and hydraulic fluids for its former fleet of A320ceo aircraft since 2014.
