AFI KLM E&M announced that it had received approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for operational support for CFM International's LEAP. This approval relates to versions 1A and 1B of the engine. The Franco-Dutch MRO is one of the first to receive it.
AFI KLM E&M had already obtained a licence from the engine manufacturer and can now start its interventions. For now, these interventions will be carried out under the wing and on site.
