HeliDax's 36 H120 Calliopes will soon be taking advantage of Safran's "health monitoring" service, which will enable predictive maintenance actions in particular. Safran will be providing a "premium" service which will involve sending customised maintenance recommendations according to the fleet's missions and usage, "in order to limit the occurrence of unplanned events".
The HeliDax public-private partnership is led by DCI and Babcock, at the EALAT (French air force light aviation school) site in Dax. It provides helicopters and flying hours to armed forces as part of crew training.
