AELS (Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions) will be busy managing the retirement of Air France-KLM aircraft in the coming months. After receiving two A340-300s from Air France, the Dutch aircraft disassembly and dismantling company received the third and last aircraft planned for the month : a KLM Boeing 747-400. The aircraft arrived on January 25th.
The two Air France A340-300s arrived on January 19th and 22nd. These were F-GLZI (MSN84, EIS in 1995) and F-GLZR (MSN307, EIS in 1999).
The KLM 747 as named Freetown (PH-BFF, EIS in 1990). This is the second 747-400 of the Dutch airline that will be handled by AELS, the first (PH-BFR) was received at Twente airport in early December.
