Lufthansa Technik's division dedicated to the VIP, special mission and government market, has just changed management with the appointments of Kai-Stefan Roepke as Vice President Commercials, and Thomas Decher as Vice President Operations.
Walter Heerdt, who until now had been in charge of the division "VIP & Special Mission Aircraft Services", retired in mid-May.
This change in management is taking place at a time when the order situation is very good according to Lufthansa Technik. In recent weeks, the company has signed contracts with two government customers for major modifications on three Airbus A340 aircraft and one A319, along with the completion of an A321. Further contracts are expected to be agreed in the coming weeks.
