SR Technics has signed an agreement protocol with Malta Enterprise and Malta Industrial Parks to increase its capacities in Malta. Malta Enterprise will now start looking for available land at Valletta airport and SR Technics will study its development opportunities. "We are assessing the possibility of building a modern MRO building which would enable us to significantly increase our capacity over the coming years", explains Jeremy Remacha, CEO of SR Technics.
Both parties hope to sign a binding agreement during the year.
SR Technics already has a maintenance centre for single-aisle aircraft in Malta, where is maintains easyJet's A319/A320 fleet.
