Lufthansa Technik is strengthening its partnership with Asiana. The MRO company has won a Total Component Support contract for the South Korean airline's A350 fleet for fifteen years (it's expecting 22).
The components may come from the German pool, but also from the Hong Kong pool, which will be extended following this signature. A second agreement was signed in parallel, according to which Lufthansa Technik will take charge of the repair and servicing of the CF6-80s in service on Asiana's 747s and 767s for four years (starting from 2018).
