Accountabilities:
The Principal Product Manager is responsible for defining the technical and functional statement on complex deals during the bidding process, monitoring that the value is brought to the customer during the implementation phase and finally to provide expertise whenever needed during the support phase of the customer.
In addition to the above, the job holder shall support the development and prioritization of the new solutions/services to develop by providing insight on what the market is looking for, and what the market might expect in the future.
This position is open up for our Crew & Operations management set of solutions which covers all aspects of crew and day of operations management (Network scheduling and planning, Operations control, Crew planning, Crew management and Crew control).

Main Responsibilities:
The Ops & Crew Principal Product Manager is responsible for his/her set of solutions for :
Defining and maintaining the standard product offer for non complex deals, and the decision making process to consider a deal as complex.
For complex deals, the job holder is responsible for:
Establishing the requirements at customer side and navblue side to optimize the customer value of the contract while optimizing the customization impact for navblue.
Establishing the risk level for the implementation of the contract by assessing the technical, functional and cultural risk related to the implementation of the contract,
Defining the technical part of contract's statement of work,
Ensuring that potential risks are identified, shared and communicated with mitigation plan defined before handover to the delivery team who will be in charge of the implementation phase
Supporting the Product Delivery teams across all regions for complex projects and/or priority customers (i.e. supporting Business Process Review and cutover for a Tier1 airline)
Contribute to the NAVBLUE brand visibility through presentations to industry events and publication of white papers on his/her subject of expertise
Providing the Portfolio Growth team with insight of the current requirements of airlines and/or the coming one that could be worth evaluation in the frame of the SAFE methodology.
Supporting the Portfolio Growth team during the prioritization per business value of the EPICs in the frame of the SAFE methodology.
Supporting the level 3 support team for prioritization of advanced items and customer escalations.
Education:
Master of Science in Airline management, or equivalent
Experience:
Strong background (5 years minimum) in the aviation (preferably airline) industry with Crew & Operations management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies:
The Principal Product Manager shall possess the following qualifications and attributes:
operational knowledge and experience in the functions of an air operator (including flight operations);
good English written and verbal communication skills;
well-developed interpersonal skills;
the ability to relate to all levels, both inside and outside the organization;
organizational ability;
good analytical skills;
a ?can-do-it? attitude to overcome roadblock
Travel Required:
Up to 20% Domestic and International
