ALSA s.a., Luxembourg Aviation Safety Agency, acting under thesupervision of Luxembourg National Aviation Authority and fully owned bythe State of Luxembourg, is looking for aFlight Operations Inspector (M/F)(Luxembourg)Duties & Responsibilities:Reporting to the Head of Operations department, you participate to the certification andsafety oversight of civil aviation operators in Luxembourg. Your scope of work will include:• Operations document review and approvals (Operations Manuals, MEL, ManagementSystem Manuals...),• Oversight programme implementation including inspections and audits in compliancewith EASA air operations regulation,• Technical analysis of special approval requests such as RVSM, LVO, PBN, ETOPS, NAT-HLA...• Assistance and support to air operators,• Technical support to the Head of Department,• Follow-up of ICAO/EU regulations in relation with air operations,• Development of internal procedures and checklists,• Participate in international working group or workshop as necessary,• Promotion of civil aviation in Luxembourg.Location:Full-time job based in Luxembourg.
 
Profil recherché
 
Education, experience, technical skills and competences:• Post-secondary aeronautical education of a duration of at least 3 years and 5 years ofexperience in an airline or within an Aviation Authority in a position dealing with FlightOperations, or hold or have held a JAR/EASA-FCL commercial/air transport pilotlicense and preferably carried out such duties for at least 5 years with at least 5000flight hours• Good knowledge of aviation regulations in operations and licensing, especially ICAOAnnex 6, ICAO Doc 8335, Air Operations implementing rules (Reg. 965/2012) and AirCrew implementing rules (Reg. 1178/2011)• Good command of both written and spoken English. Good knowledge of French and/orGerman language is an asset• MS Office and computer literate• Experience in an EASA Member Civil Aviation Authority will be an asset• Experience as an auditor will be an assetSocial & personal skills:• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines under demanding conditions• Good team spirit and ability to work as part of a team• Effective organization skills• Strong commitment to promoting a service minded and customer orientedadministration• Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative and self-driven personality• Capacity to work in a multicultural environment• Effective communication skills• Good ability to synthetize and to analyze complex problems• Willing to travel worldwide• Clean criminal record (pre-employment and background assessment will be done).To apply, please send CV and motivation letter till 29/02/2020 to ALSA s.a.4 rue Lou HemmerL-1748 Luxembourgor via mail
