Austrian Airlines entrusts its E-Jet landing gear to Liebherr Aerospace

Liebherr Aerospace announces that it has won a contract with Austrian Airlines to overhaul the landing gears of 17 Embraer E-Jet E195 aircraft.
The first landing gear should be received at the end of December at Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg facility.
"This contract represents another major milestone in our Landing Gear Customer Service activities. We are very happy and grateful to perform the overhaul for Austrian Airlines with all our expertise gained not only as an OEM, but also as a Customer Service provider who has been on the market for already over 60 years," said Frank Steinmaier, Head of Sales and Marketing EUMEA, Customer Service at Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH.
The equipment manufacturer recalls that the complete landing gear system for the E-Jet family (E170/E175/E190/E195) has been developed, manufactured and certified by Liebherr-Aerospace.
