LATAM group also to use Donecle's drones for its cell inspections

Another new customer for Donecle's drone maintenance solutions. The Toulouse-based company revealed at the end of December that LATAM Airlines Group had chosen its automated inspection solution, thereby landing the company its first customer in South America. LATAM Airlines Group's seven airlines currently operate a total fleet of over 300 aircraft.
Donecle indicated that its solution had been selected following a successful test period of 3 months. LATAM will be using the solutions for automated visual inspections during major servicing operations for its Airbus A320s at its base maintenance centre at São Carlos (Brazil), one of its four main MRO sites.
LATAM Airlines Group and Donecle are also studying the possibility of deploying the automated drone solution on some other maintenance sites, as well as for other potential applications.

It is a privilege having the opportunity to test this advanced technology, which has already helped us gain efficiency and elevated our Quality and Safety standards", said Alexandre Peronti, Director of Maintenance at LATAM Airlines Brasil, in a press release.
Donecle's automated solution enables the inspection time for a narrowbody aircraft to be reduced to under one hour, whereas a standard visual inspection generally takes between 8 and 10 hours. The solution also contributes to a paperless process and to better traceability of inspections.
