Dassault Aviation to acquire the maintenance activities of ExecuJet

Dassault Aviation will be acquiring the maintenance activities of ExecuJet, a subsidiary of the Luxaviation group. The commercial operation, for which the amount has not been revealed, is due to be finalised during 2019. It will therefore involve "strengthening [the] worldwide network" for the aircraft manufacturer in the maintenance sector, in particular in the Asia-Pacific, Oceania, Middle East and Africa regions, but will also increase market share for Falcon maintenance, according to the press release.
Created in 1991, ExecuJet was bought by Luxaviation in 2015. The entity has maintenance centers in 42 countries around the world with major facilities in Berlin, Cape Town, Dubai, Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Melbourne, Moscow, New Delhi, Beijing, Perth, Sydney, Tianjin and Wellington.
In particular, the MRO operator provides its services for the Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault Aviation, Embraer, Gulfstream and Hawker fleets. It can also intervene on Bell 407/412/429 rotary wing aircraft, as well as on PC-12, Jetstream 31, Casa 212, P-180 or encore Westwing 1124 fleets (at certain sites only).
