Aerostar inaugurated its new MRO center in Iasi

Romanian MRO company Aerostar, based in Bacau, has inaugurated its new maintenance facilities in Iasi (north-eastern Romania). The result of an investment of 10 million euros announced in 2017, the new facilities are entirely dedicated to the civil market and include the largest Aerostar hangar to date (8,400 m2).
It can accommodate up to three single-aisle from the A320 or 737 families simultaneously.
The first aircraft received is an A320neo from the Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus (TC-NBC).
The Romanian company now has seven single-aisle maintenance lines by combining its capacities in Bacau and Iasi.
