APOC Aviation has entered into an agreement with a leading North American carrier to acquire five CFM56-7B engines. Three of the engines have already been delivered and the other two should be delivered soon.

The company announces in parallel that it is currently working on the dismantling of its first engine. The recovered parts should reach its stock by the end of the year.

Until now, APOC Aviation recovered engines mainly for resale or lease. This year, it acquired a CFM56-3C1 (a second should be integrated very soon) and three CFM56-5As, two of which are ready to be leased.

APOC also provides green time management services in order to postpone shop visits.

"A short-term lease on a CFM56 engine that still has 'green time' left in it can keep operators flying during these difficult times, as it allows them to delay overhauls costing millions. We believe this is an important 'customer care' initiative and is just one of the ways we're working with MROs, repair shops and airlines who are keen to support their engine capabilities with innovative solutions to access quality engines and parts" commented Anca Mihalache, VP Engine Trading at APOC.
