Bolloré Logistics took advantage of the Dubai Airshow to announce a contract with CFM International on 18th November. This contract, which covers the transport of the Franco-American manufacturer's engines in particular, including customs clearance documentation, was signed by Karthigeyan Ramaswamy, Managing Director of CFM Aircraft Engine Support South Asia Pvt Ltd and by Philippe Lortal, CEO Middle East and South Asia at Bolloré Logistics.

"The contract signed is for importation into India including but not limited to Custom Clearance at Delhi

CFM International, the 50/50 joint company between Safran and GE, supplies more and more engines to the Indian sub-continent region. For India alone, after the introduction of the LEAP-1A engine by Air India in 2016, Vistara and IndiGo have also opted for CFM to power some or all of their A320neo fleets. SpiceJet is also a major customer for the LEAP-1B.
