Manta Air has just launched its ATR operations, but it is ready now for its fleet maintenance. The Maldives-based airline has chosen to use the Envision application provided by Switzerland's Rusada to manage its maintenance. It should enable the accessibility, legibility and reliability of the information collected to be improved.
Rusada indicates that eight modules have been deployed in four months to support the airline with its launch and to enable it to collect the information it needs to carry out this step successfully and guarantee reliability for its operations later on.
"Our knowledge and our experience of operational issues have enabled us to win this contract and we were able to demonstrate them quickly with a quick, trouble-free start-up", said a happy Julian Stourton, the president of Rusada.
Manta Air made its inaugural flight at the end of February, using its fleet made up of two ATR 72-600s. This fleet is due to be expanded soon with a third aircraft and the airline is also planning to integrate Twin Otters. The ATRs are based in Malé and are only serving Kudahuvadhoo airport for the moment. |
