Nyco's Turbonycoil 600 synthetic oil has been selected by Flydubai to lubricate the engines of its 737 fleet. This is a major deal since the Emirati airline currently operates 55 Boeing 737-800s (CFM56-7B) and six 737 MAX 8s (LEAP-1B) and is still waiting for at least 245 deliveries of the re-engined narrowbody aircraft from Boeing.
Nyco will be moving closer to its customer and will be opening a storage centre at the Jebel Ali free-zone in Dubai, in partnership with OEMServices as the manufacturer has already done at Paris-CDG Airport, Singapore and Atlanta.
This type of centre hosts a selection of turbine oils, hydraulic fluids and greases, which enables the company to react more quickly to demands from airlines, MRO companies, equipment providers and distributors.
