Finaero has decided to change its name. The group wants to highlight its commitment to customer satisfaction and to reorganise the activities of its different divisions to provide more clarity and so it has chosen to rename itself Satys. At the same time, it has outlined its objectives for growth for the coming years.

The group's divisions will be brought together in four main business segments. STTS will become Satys Sealing & Painting, CIEE Interconnect will become Satys Electric and AST is being renamed Satys Surface Treatment. As for AIP, AIT and SMTC, they will be brought together within the Satys Interiors division.

Regarding 2017's balance sheet, Satys published turnover of 172 million Euro, up 28 % compared to 2016 and 19 % at constant scope. Its objective for 2018 is to achieve growth of between 15 and 20 % again to achieve 200 million Euro in turnover.

In the longer term, it is planning to double its activity by 2025. It will do so through organic growth but also by acquisitions in all its business units. For example, in 2019 Satys Sealing & Painting will inaugurate a new painting facility at Dubai South which will be able to work on A380s and Satys Electric is planning two new locations in Germany and the United States.
