Airbus announced on February 7 during Singapore Airshow that Hong Kong Airlines had selected its Flight Hour Services - Tailored Support Package (FHS-TSP) for the maintenance of its A350 fleet.

The contract provides integrated and guaranteed services ranging from the supply and repair of components to the manufacturer's unique Fleet Technical Management service. An on-site Airbus team will also manage daily maintenance activities including spares, warehousing, and engineering.

Hong Kong Airlines has ordered 21 A350-900, all of which will be delivered by the end of 2020. Three aircraft are already in service.

Hong Kong Airlines will be able to rely on Airbus FHS pool in Hong Kong, inaugurated in 2016.
