Cargolux Maintenance completes its 100th C-Check in Luxembourg

Cargolux Maintenance celebrated the end of its hundredth C-Check on January 25th. The 100th C-Check was carried on a Cargolux Boeing 747-400F registered LX-FCL and required approximately 10,600 working hours.

The work took place in Cargolux Maintenance facilities, whose hangar can accommodate two Boeing 747 aircraft simultaneously, making it possible to carry out extensive C-Checks as well as smaller A-Checks on the rest of the fleet.

The Cargolux Maintenance Centre also offers maintenance work on 747 aircraft for third parties, making it one of the most important aircraft maintenance centres in Europe. Of the one hundred C-Checks completed since 2009, 32 were performed on non-Cargolux aircraft and thirteen took place in 2017.
