Lufthansa Technik will extend its capabilities on the Boeing 737 MAX. From the middle of the year, Lufthansa Technik Budapest will start connectivity modifications on several 737 MAX operated by an airline whose identity has not been revealed. The work will be done by Lufthansa Technik's facility in Budapest. The five-day modification includes the installation of a broadband antenna on the aircraft's external structure, together with cabling, hardware and software installation in the aircraft cabin. According to LHT, capability extension at others locations will follow.
