AFI KLM E&M has extended its predictive maintenance services to Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) in early September. EPCOR, its subsidiary dedicated to supporting APUs and pneumatic systems now proposes the solution Prognos for APU.
Like its predecessors (Prognos for Engine & Prognos for Aircraft), Prognos for APU uses Big Data technologies to monitor the performance of APUs and anticipate potential failures, optimizing maintenance operations and minimizing their impact by scheduling them at the most appropriate time for operators.
