Etihad Airways Engineering has received a Part 21G production organisation approval (POA) from the EASA, authorising it to produce cabin elements. This agreement includes elements such as seat coverings, mats, adhesives and even composite structures.
This makes the Etihad group's subsidiary the first MRO operator based in the Middle East to receive this approval, which enables it to install its products on planes registered in Europe where countries refer to the European body.
