Bruno Stoufflet is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and is Docteur-Ingenieur from University Paris VI in Applied Mathematics.

He has been working in Dassault Aviation since 1984, after completing his thesis at Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et Automatique.

He has been successively head of Theoretical Aerodynamic Department, then Advanced Scientific Studies. He has published tens of articles on scientific computing and numerical analysis.

Since 2000, as Vice-President Scientific Strategic, R&D and Advanced Projects, he has been in charge of the preparation of the future as in terms of technology, partnerships and products (aerial system pre-design) for Defence and civil activities.

Three years ago, he has been nominated Chief Technology Officer of the company.

He is member of the steering Committee of the French Conseil d’Orientation de la Recherche Aéronautique Civile (CORAC) and until very recently Vice-Chairman of the Governing Board of the European Joint Undertaking Clean Sky.

He has been elected member of the Air and Space Academy.

Executive Vice-President, Avionics and member of the Thales Executive Committee, Gil Michielin pursued an international career in the Avionics industry for the Thales group.

In his different appointments within the Group, he played a key role in the rise of breakthrough digital technologies in the Avionics industry. He has been involved in most of the major European civil and military programs such as Mirage 2000 and Rafale combat aircraft, Nimrod and ATL2 maritime patrol aircraft, Transall and C130 upgrades, as well as Tiger and NH90 military helicopters.

Within Thales's Avionics Division, Gil Michielin has accelerated the Group's growth in the commercial aircraft segment, covering air transport, business jets and regional jets, both in Avionics and In-Flight entertainment systems. He has been involved in all major commercial aircraft programs, such as the A380 and B787, and more recently the A350 XWB, Gulfstream G650, SSJ100, ATR-600 and A320 NEO.

Gil Michielin was elected President of EUROCAE in May 2007. From 2012 until early 2015, he led Thales’s Optronics activities worldwide, addressing Airborne, Land and Naval market segments, and was then appointed as Avionics Global Business Unit Executive Vice President, leading one of the six Divisions of Thales.

Gil graduated from Grenoble’s Institute of Technology and joined Thales in 1982 as an engineer in electronics.

Juergen Urbanski works as the VP of Digital at Airbus in Munich and has been active in Silicon Valley since 2000, most recently as an entrepreneur with Silicon Valley Data Science.  Currently, he is responsible for driving the digital transformation at Airbus Defence and Space by creating cloud solutions based on a fresh technology stack. In addition, Urbanksi coaches and challenges all business units in their creation of truly digital products and services.

Previously, Urbanski was the VP of Growth at Silicon Valley Data Science, a fast growing privately held consulting firm focused on driving the digital transformation of the enterprise. He helped Fortune 500 companies build data products and data driven businesses. Moreover, Urbanski accelerated revenue growth, diversified the revenue mix and opened up international markets, contributing to the firm’s eventual acquisition by Apple. 

Prior to that, Urbanski was VP of Sales in the Cloud division of Deutsche Telekom. In that role, he refreshed the services portfolio notably in the growth markets of cloud and analytics. Before Deutsche Telekom, he was a consultant with McKinsey and the Director of Marketing with storage vendor NetApp. Urbanski holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
